I also just tried to doube-click on the Subnautica exe in the Epic Games folder directly and nothing. no way to do offline (anymore) Seems true. it now only launches when you hit the Launch button in the Epic Launcher even if you launch it via the EXE while the Epic Launcher is open, it still won't launch. they updated the game yesterday, I think (or the day before) and now if you try to launch the game from the games EXE, it'll start to launch, then quit. you could launch it without even having the Epic Launcher installed on the machine.
